Back from my 1st cross training.
it was.. different. definitely. and tiring.
in swimming you don't have to bear your own body weight, and switching strokes means we get to use different muscles, instead of using the same muscles throughout the entire session.
so i did 10x400 intervals on 95s + 1min rest inbetween with Grace (the girls' capt).
Considering my best 2.4 time is only 10.06, which is an average split of 101s per 400, you can imagine it was pretty tiring for me.
And the fact that i haven't exercised for the past 2 weeks (not considering all the walking we did in Taiwan) didn't really help much.
but, i guess training's quite okay!
it's nice knowing that you're pushing yourself.
